Quick update

Just a quick update to say I've been busy with something very cool. A group of us got together and are going parachute jumping! (I've been talking their heads off about how awesome it seems).

We have a few lessons for two nights before we get to do a solo 'static-line' jump. I've just come back from the fist lesson and it's awesome. Mostly theory so far, but we got to see the plane in the hanger. Can't wait to jump out of that thing day after tomorrow.

Anyone have any experiences sky diving?

    I can't skydive, I'm afraid of heights....that happens when you almost fall off catwalks in a theater. Friends of mine have done it before, and say they loved it.

    I've always wanted to go skydiving, but the cost has always prevented me from being able to. I have a friend who went, but he used his parents money....without telling them.

    Remember when you were a kid and you played with those "Parachutes" with the holes in the middle? when I was younger, I thought it was wrong because the air could flow through.

    Then I realized it is right.

    Beware, your parachute has a hole in it.

    I've always wanted to jump out an airplane with what keeps me from dying is a giant air bag. Always feels exciting =D
